I guess no one took me seriously…Now I got my paycheck and Not only did they not pay me for the breaks that I clocked out for (10 min, 2 times a day) But My time card hours in the system show 79.87 hours, on my pay stub it only shows 79.53 hours. How can they do this. Are their any Labor Law Attorney’s (in the Los Angeles Area) out there that would like to take my case. BTW I am not the only employee that this is happening to. We need help desperately..

I know I need to file a claim, but if say all 150 employees at my work are being stolen from then this would be a lawsuit not just a wage claim with the state of California. I would also need to take off work to go file the claim…And if I am fighting for pay then that makes no sense…
I called My local office and they said I have to personally bring the claim in, I cannot file online or mail it
In California the law is that if they do not pay for 10 minute rest breaks that the penalty is 0 per 10 minutes violated. I checked the web site.
BTW My attorney that I had for workers comp only charged 10% for all claims

since 2 days i have problem using yahoo messenger and mozzilla firefox. Yahoo messenger has completely disappeared from my system. When i am tryin to reinstall, it shows some error like windows cannot access the file. Even i cannot access programs from control panel (add/remove programs). is it because of virus? please help me with this problem. thanks..

Wrongfully reporting people seems to be mostly done in this section, that’s why I ask it here.

How about if level 6 and level 7 users were giving special privileges to judge reported questions? The question would be transported to a special section which only level 6/7 users can’t access. They vote anonimously on the reported questions. After a certain percentage of votes, the question gets deleted or not.

I’m sure level 6/7 users know far more about what’s going on on this website than any automated Yahoo control system. And I’m also sure many level 6/7 users would be happy to vote on these questions, because they obviously spend time and effort into Yahoo!Answers.

I’m not sure if this a good idea, if you have some input I’d be happy to hear it. Thanks.

Out of nowhere my puter started running slow, would not allow automatic updates to download and activex controls for certain web pages are gone and will not download. I ran anti-virus, anti-spyware, anti-adware programs (yahoo sypware, super anti-spyware, adware alert, and spydoctor) a few low level threats detected and removed. My next step was system restore but when i clicked on it, nothing happen and the menu page did not open. I checked for disk space, turned it off and then on again, checked compmgmt.msc and system restore is started and monitoring. Nothing seemed to work and puter is still painfully slow. Is there another way to access system restore and restore to a previous date? Or is there another more serious problem? I am a novice, so take it easy on me. Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
i tried system restore in safe mode too, did not respond. Now, that I have turned SR off/on, I have nothing to restore to? Great, another problem…..

I keep getting error messages; invalid user name or password. I have been using the same user name and password for years. Yahoo’s help suggestions don’t help. The new security image doesn’t work when trying to change my password. It keeps saying, you must validate new security image, but doesn’t say how. I tried IE-7 and Netscape 8.1 on one computer and also tried a different computer with the same results. My other yahoo account works fine on both computers, but the main e-mail account with all my folders won’t accept my login information by typing or with my fingerprint scanner.

I think I’ve contracted a virus. I’ve tried all the usual solutions, but keep getting messages like, "control.exe" Application not found……also my Yahoo Browswer no longer works. Any suggestions other than calling the "geek squad"? Thx!
Also, I’ve tried downloading several different diagnostic programs, and my pc keeps asking me what program I want to use to open it. When I choose IE or yahoo to run it, it takes me right back to what program I want to use……..HELP!
Thanks guys/gals, but I’ve tried doing both. My PC won’t let me access any control functions. I’m dreading having to reboot, but I’m not ready to give up yet. As far as trying the websites you suggested, it’s the same thing. It keeps asking me to choose a program, and then takes me right back to which program I want to use, over and over again.

Also my internet explorer 7, seems to function incorrectly. I can’t even view the messages in my yahoo mail ( I can read the list(s) of mail, but when I click into it, no message appears).
Online/streaming windows media player also does not work.
NOTE that I have deleted a dll file from my system32 flagged as a trojan from Mcafee ver. 8i. Then this started happening, and I cannot restore my system. It won’t open up from the start menu, but I have to go around to control panel and to the help menu to access it, but a blank window just opens up!!!!
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

I wondering how to change the clock on my yahoo mail page – I went into calenders and only seen GMT -5:00 US/Canada Eastern – Im in NY and the time is always wrong. Any help would be fine. TY
