Is this Lenovo ThinkPad T60p a good used laptop? and price?

Operating System – Microsoft Windows XP Professional Edition
Processor internal clock speed – 2.33GHz
Processor (CPU) – Intel® Core 2™ Duo
Display – 14.1"
Memory Std/Max – 1024MB/2048MB
Hard Disk – 80GB
Optical – CD-RW/DVD-RW Combo
Modem – 56K
Network card – Gigabit Ethernet
Wireless – 802.11 a/b/g Wi-Fi wireless and Bluetooth
Security feature – Fingerprint reader

I liked the processor and cd/dvd drive, but was wondering about the memory. Is the 1024mb the ram then? Isn’t that weak? Also, what would you think’s a good price for this in good condition? Anything else?

A question about MS Access: porblem with creating subform?

I had problem when creating the subform in the primary form using the subform icon in the toolbox ( I did activate the Control Wizards button), the system said "Microsoft Access cannot start this wizard, this feature is currently not installed, would you install it now?" I say "yes" And then the system told me the feature I am trying to use is on CD-ROM and it’s not available. So, My question is: what happened? can I use other method to add a subform in the current primary form? How can I add a subform onto the main form in this situation? Thanks.

Start/Programs disappeared?

My wife has a Windows XP Pro SP2 PC, and last night she was just browsing, everything was fine, when suddenly her PC stop respondig, so she rebooted, and her Start/My Computer, Start/Control Panel, Start/Programs, her D drive, where she had stored pictures and other stuff, all had disappered. Just blank space. She still can open Windows Explorer and see her C drive, but it’s somewhat weird, because it shows her C drive below the RecycleBin and Network Places, not below the A drive where it used to show. Her clock at the bottom right is moved to the left, and now shows VIRUS ALERT. There was a what appeared to be a Spyware program wanting to run, called PC Doctor 2008 or something like that, so I tried to go to the Microsoft website and tried running Windows Live OneCare, but as soon as I tried running the scan, it kept going back to the PC Doctor 2008 wanting to run a scan. So now I can’t access System Restore, can’t access Control Panel to Remove programs. Any ideas? Thanks.

Fingerprint Reader?

I am looking to purchase a fngerprint reader- either in a keyboard or separate USB reader. I have Windows Vista and I use Firefox to browse the internet. All of the Microsoft readers support Internet Explorer only, and not Firefox. Are there any readers that work with Vista and Firefox? I’m not looking for major high security or anything, just an easy way of entering passwords.

Disabling AutoRun–Need help finding "System" folder under Group Policy in XP Pro?

I am trying to disable AutoRun on a Windows XP Professional machine using the Gpedit.msc command. The instructions from Microsoft’s website say to find the System folder under the Group Policy/Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates sub-tree and disable AutoRun there. The only problem is that under that sub-tree I DO NOT have a System folder. The only folders there are Windows Desktop Search and Windows Components. As such, I cannot access the settings control panel to turn off AutoRun. Does anyone know why the System folder isn’t appearing for me under Administrative Templates? Also, is it possible to get the folder to appear or to find it from another approach? How could I go about doing so? I manually installed XP Professional on my machine (which previously had no Windows OS on it), so the system did not come pre-loaded with the Windows OS. As such, I don’t know if my OS might be missing some components or if it doesn’t give the default display that seems to allow everyone else to access the System folder under Administrative Templates. If anyone can help or offer some advice, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
I’ve already looked up ‘disabling AutoRun’ and the key problem is that I DO NOT HAVE A SYSTEM FOLDER under Administrative Templates. I read somewhere that the system template had to be manually added by right-clicking on Administrative Templates. I did so, but still…no System folder/template. I am running Windows XP Pro on a Mac (with Boot Camp), so does this have to do with the non-availability of the System template? If there are any users out there who run Windows on a Mac with Boot Camp and have some knowledge/experience with this, I would greatly appreciate any advice you guys could offer regarding this issue.

Security is a Fingerprint case that cannot hold the Candle?

Yahoo must have been frantic when I disappeared from the scope in Answers, and from Profiles, when I got a notice my account risked deletion over security audit as someone who comes from a Web Space Nation as profitable as IBM and Microsoft, who prefers to be addressed without Judicial Department rules but no intentions to follow them
Yea it figures. Is there not one dude in this briny class of knowledge base able to understand where we are?????
My spelling is awfull but loet’’s not dwell there. Security is an Automate , and a determinded Son of Program and Mother like a Community Guideline, which says on the sign Only One to Pass.

So I pass behind the sign and the bridge breaks of underneath me. I fall in the ….. Where another sign says. A forwarned persones counts as 2.
