It ticks all the boxes, light, good memory etc HOWEVER I think that it is overpriced £1200 because of the bamboo gimmick. can anyone suggest a similar laptop that meets this spec and is the same weight and size? 1.6kg and 12 " (could go up to 13")

i am a college student doing an HND in Business and i am awaiting to hear if i can get funds through Disabled Students Allowance for a laptop. In the initial report from my DSA assessor, there was a laptop suggested at the cost of £700

What i want to know is what is the best laptop i can get for that budget of £700. It must be lightweight and be 12.1" screen, must have plenty of ram and HD space and must also use Vista and must have wireless lan on it and possibly have the fingerprint security.
I was thinking about an Acer Travelmate TM6292 that i saw on laptopsdirect.co.uk link is http://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/TM6292-834G32Mi_Core_2_Duo_LX.TG60X.094/version.asp?PID= is this a good laptop or are there better ones?

I have a Fujitsu N 6420 Notebook. When I turn on my computer, it allows me to do the fingerprint security bypass, but after that windows will not load and I am getting an error message that tells me basically that it cannot verify that my version of windows is authentic, although I have been using it for quite awhile. Can anyone tell me how to fix it. I have tried to get into BIOS, but it tells me that the administrator is not activated, although it has been.
