Biometric door locks?
Home fingerprint keypad lever locks seem cool but do they work? Are they more trouble than a regular door lock for home?
Would be great to hear from people who own one.
The ones I’ve seen online and the home shows claim one year 4 AA bateries. No worry about outages.

Locks are only as good as the buildings they are attached to. I’m a professional Carpenter, locks are only as secure as the door you mount them to, a residential door does not warrant an expensive high security lock, because there are too many other ways to get in. Just remember this old carpenter’s saying, "Locks will only stop an honest Thief".
