To ensure your spouse gives a better effort, is it OK to install an employee-style time clock in the bedroom?
To punch in and out.

I work from 12:00 p.m to 8:30p.m my supervisor will come up to me at the last minute and tell me that I have to stay over because either I didn’t get a job done, or because someone else didnt get there job done. and my supervisor makes everyone stay over. isnt there supposed to be a certain amount of time allowed for making an employee work over. like give an employee a 24 hour notice or something?
ours doesn’t let us know if we are clocked in. Management won’t give enough info.
I recently did a clean install of windows 7 64-bit over my vista 32-bit. When i booted up, i realized that my fingerprint scanner no longer worked. Ok. I find the biometric device under device manager and click find drivers, and it installs one. However, it was not the really nice scanning suite that came on my computer (dell xps m1530). So i google it and find that I had the UPEK protection suite, and find a long to install it. So i do that. Now, my scanner won’t work. The UPEK folder i downloaded contains some drivers that are apparently doing nothing, and when i try to enroll/access enrollment for fingers under the old suite, i get the following error: "cannot load enrolled fingers for biometric device1. The unit ID number doesn’t correspond to a valid biometric device."
a) what can i do to fix it? and
b) how can i get my nice fingerprint suite back?
correction: The suite i am getting errors from is in fact a UPEK related suite, though not the one i recognize. So a) how to i direct my biometric device to that software and b) where can i find the actual software that i used to have my on my laptop?

We are trying to use a biometric finger print reader for noting employee times, hence the reason to make the PC clock not changeable.
My employee works in Florida and currently clocks in and out using Kronos. However we are having a dilemma as to what to pay the employee due to the time difference in paying differentials. We pay pm and night differentials to our employees.
The programs that you get for hiring goods are great, but they’re also expensive. We have just started out, so we can’t afford these programs. Is there any way we can create a good stock control system for hiring in Microsoft Access?
We own a small pizza shop and we have employees just writing times down, I want something a little more efficient, hopefully a program that runs off your computers clock?
